Gossip Girl Serena And Dan Navigation menu VideoStory of Dan and Serena 8/23/ · The ending of Gossip Girl happened nearly a decade ago in After six seasons, fans said goodbye to Dan, Serena, Chuck, Blair, and Nate. . 7/27/ · Let's start with the first time Dan's identity made no sense: when Serena bought a pregnancy test and Dan posted it on Gossip Girl. The CW For all Dan knew, Serena was pregnant.
1994 wurde die Firma in ProSieben Psychopath Film und als Live Tv Konferenz konsolidiert. - InhaltsverzeichnisLouis verzeiht Blair und die beiden geben sich das Ja-Wort.
Everybody in Serena's social circle was pretty and had money. Serena was no more special than any of them. Until, as Dan put it, she was "talked about.
Serena was looking for attention, and instead of showering her with his own, Dan gave Serena a world of worshipers.
They may have judged her and hated her half the time, but they also envied her and loved to know about her. She had the same status as someone who would show up on the cover of People Magazine.
Dan turned Serena from another rich girl with daddy issues into an icon. He immortalized her and gave her exactly what she wanted most; attention.
Not his own but the entire upper-east side. He had more power over her and the people in her life than anyone. For a girl with daddy issues, that kind of power and control is incredibly attractive.
While Serena was trying to turn her life around, something she constantly claimed to attempt but never actually did, Dan would have been the wrong sort of boy for her.
He was just as bad as the guys she did know. He was worse. But Serena never really wanted to turn her life around. They were trying so hard to please her and be perfect for her that they would never cross over to the dark side where she lived.
Serena used boys, she drank, did drugs, she cheated and lied, and she utilized Gossip Girl to tell tales on her friends.
Blair, Serena's best friend, and favorite person in the world sent twice as much. Everyone Serena really cared about except Nate sent messages to Gossip Girl.
She would never really respect him, and frankly, he deserved better. Dude didn't lack options, and he wanted to grow into his own person. His goals were even noble sometimes, if a little naive, and that wasn't Serena and Dan.
Dan wrote horrible things about Serena and knew all of her darkest secrets before they even met. Yet he still wanted her, knowing exactly who and what she was.
His whole life, his goals, his relationships, everything centered around Serena and her world. Much as they both bemoaned it throughout the series, both of them wanted to be upper-east siders.
They wanted to be talked about. They wanted the glamour, and they wanted the dark side. They wanted to do deplorable things and be able to get away with it.
And they wanted the world to know their names. Could Derena be a duo of supervillains? Nobody said this was a love story between a nice boy and girl.
But they are well suited. In the end, Serena saw Dan as someone she could respect because he gained control of a world she never could, and he made her into a god.
They make perfect sense in a dark, twisted sort of way. Do you agree with my analysis of why Dan and Serena make sense for each other?
Let me know in the comments. One of the most shocking moments of Gossip Girl is when Dan's book gets published and it ends up being based on the lives of all his friends.
Of course, this wouldn't have been a problem if it hadn't been for the fact that he told no one and that the Upper East Siders all had to find out themselves.
Dan lost a lot of friendship points, especially with Serena. She was reflected particularly badly in his book, and even though he explained that parts of her character weren't accurate, she wasn't very impressed.
Just as things are finally starting to look good for Dan and Serena, Dan messes things up completely. When Serena and Dan decide to host Thanksgiving dinner for their friends, things start to go south very quickly when Dan posts a scathing article about Serena and yes, they're dating at this point.
Serena is furious and rightly so, she once again breaks up with him. Either Dan has a broken moral compass, or he doesn't know what feelings are, because he has written awful things about Serena too many times to count.
Right after Dan's book is revealed to the world, Serena is forced to mend their friendship because her boss wants the movie rights to his book.
After this, she uses her friendship with him and questionable legal methods to get the rights. While she ends up getting fired for protecting his book, the main message here is that if they were truly friends, she wouldn't have lied to him, to begin with.
Another fan-favorite pairing is the unexpected relationship between Dan and Serena's best friend, Blair Waldorf. When Blair's love interest Louis accuses her of having an affair with Dan, Blair asks him and Serena to pretend to date.
It's safe to say that Serena gets a little too into being a pretend couple and starts to have feelings for him again. When Blair tells Serena she doesn't need to pretend anymore, she ignores it and decides against telling Dan.
Of course, Serena wants what she can't have and when she tells him she loves him, Dan rejects her because he's in love with Blair. Fans of Gossip Girl know by now that jealously is a running theme throughout the show.
Whether it's Dan being jealous of Serena and Nate , or Serena being jealous of Dan and Blair. The first time we truly see Serena van der Woodsen get jealous is when Dan's best friend Vanessa enters the picture, or when absolutely any other girl enters the picture.
To make matters worse, Dan and Vanessa used to have feelings for each other, and Serena sees her as competition. Both girls have an on and off feud throughout the show and are jealous of each other.

The second half of the season reveals the impact of Bart's death, causing a significant change of character direction for Chuck that subsequently leads to the growth of Rufus and Lily's relationship, the revelation of the two having a son together, and contributing to the decline of Dan and Serena's relationship.

This subplot unravels to reveal that Lily Humphrey, Serena's mother, forged Serena's signature on an affidavit stating that Juliet's brother, Ben, had an intimate relationship with Serena, while Serena was a minor and his student leading to Ben's imprisonment.
This relationship was confirmed by Serena to be false. After realizing she still had feelings for Chuck, Blair and Chuck decide to go away together, but their car crashes.
